Scuffing and a little marking, some signs of shelf-wear, tear at top of front outer hinge, slightly bumped corners. Binding firm. Page edges a little marked with age but quite clean on account of not having been read. Some marking to endpapers, a little staining to upper edges of hindmost pages but otherwise page surfaces appear clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information. xlii + 229 pp. n.
