Mittags ansagen zu wollen []". - Leider sang von 1924 bis 1939 im Ensemble der Berliner Staatsoper Unter den Linden. Seit 1928 trat sie auch bei den Bayreuther Festspielen auf. Zu ihren erfolgreichsten Partien zählten die Brünnhilde im "Ring des Nibelungen" und die Kundry im "Parsifal". Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg inszenierte sie auch Opern und wurde 1948 Prof. an der Musikhochschule in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Ihre Erinnerungen erschienen 1959 unter dem Titel "Das war mein Teil".…
