Title, imprint and text. Original cloth covers with gold embossing (by H. Wennberg, Stuttgart). One of the 180 examples on Rives from a total p…rinting of 240. A lovely copy. There is slight marking to the cloth portfolio covers, and a fractional fading to the black of the spine. The work itself and the etchings are in immaculate condition. There is a little darkening to the top edges of the sheets, and the title sheet of one engraving has a couple of spots to it. Johnny Friedlaender (19121992) was a German/French artist who particularly specialised in aquatint etching. 500 x 340 mm (19¾ x 13½ inches). .

Die Aquarelle wurden in Originalgröße von den Graphischen Werkstätten Albert Bauer reproduziert und von der Druckerei Anton Lettenbauer gedruckt. Den Einband fertigte die Buchbinderei Richard Naumann. Die Feinpapierh…andlung Hermann Radecke lieferte den haderhaltigen, echt französischen "Rives" Büttenkarton, 210 g/qm. Die Gesamtherstellung betreute Hans Joachim Hower. In einer Lasche im hinteren Einbanddeckel steckt eine kleine Broschur mit einem Begleittext von Ute Blaich. Hierbei handelt es sich um das Exemplar 65/100 der limitierten Auflage mit der separat beigelegten, von Hand signierten Orig.-Radierung von J. Friedlaender (Format ca. 13 : 9,3 cm). Sprache: Deutsch Kleinformat, Original-Leinenband mit Original-Broschur in einem Pappschuber.
