Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. A very nice copy of Furze Morrish's case for an academic basis for occult science. This is the 1945 first edition (undated, as it always is), very rare with DJ. Pages are excellent, clean and bright with just the most minor natural ageing. Aside from a neat small previous owner signature on front FEP (see photos), there are no notes or foxing at all. DJ is unclipped and in VG state: some rubbing, a little nibbling at extremities with the most minor loss (see photos). Very rare with DJ in this condition. See photos, all of which are of the copy for sale, we don't use stock photos. More photos on request, thanks!

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. First Edition. "This volume consists of two books, each presenting a distinct phase of our national evolution and destiny. The first book comprises an appreciation of an old seventeenth century MS., which is most remarkably accurate in its forecast of British national development. It shows the successive states by which our modern political arrangement has come about, in the light of a viewpoint which may be novel to a very great number of people. The second book presents a considered opinion regarding the racial root-origins of Anglo-Saxondom, and pays special attention to certain sources of hostility that have developed out of racial elements fundamentally antagonistic to Anglo-Saxondom in general. It may be a magnificent gesture to ignore all opposition, as if this was nonexistent; but the fact remains that a doctrine must be met and defeated by a doctrine, especially in dangerous times when the bulk of humanity seems to gain its information on vital issues in tabloid form from the skilfully coloured opinions of the daily Press. THOSE MASTERS OF INTRIGUE AT PRESENT MENACING HUMANITY HAVE A READY ANSWER TO ALL DOCTRINES BUT ONE. [Emphasis by the authors.] The one exception is that formula outlined in 'A People No One Knew' [an earlier book by these authors] and more minutely examined in the following pages." - Introduction. Fold-out chart presents "Racial Origins of Anglo-Saxon-Celtic and Jewish Peoples". 231, [1] ad, pp. Coloured fold-out map indicates Israel-possessions, King of the South, and King of the North. Errata slip bound in at Table of Contents. "Leslie Furze-Morrish (1898-1979) was a mid-20th century Melbourne mystic, astrologer and theosophist, and a former officer in the British field artillery. Some of his research papers were published in American journals." - AusLit website. Unmarked with average wear to original blue cloth. General foxing, primarily to edges. Binding intact. Dust jacket not included. A sound copy of this detailed study. Bonus: Original owner's handwritten purchase receipt issued by the publisher, dated 1938, laid-in. Halford & Sherrod p.7.; 8vo.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. "It is the author's aim in these pages to point our that this anxiety [about whether or not anarchy will succeed the approaching failure of democracy] is unnecessary and need never be indulged at all, once a recognition of the Fundamental Truth, as laid down in the Bibliocal narrative, is reached. So penetrating is this Truth and so conclusive the weight of evidence regarding it; so potent is the Power behind it, that an almost instantaneous recognition is frequently reached on examination of it. In the author's case, recognition came about three years ago, at which time he was, as so many are to-day, practically an atheist. Examination of this Truth so completely altered his wide outlook, that he at once commenced to write this book which he has now completed. It is his hope that the arguments to be found in this volume will serve to satisfy the minds of its readers as completely as they have satisfied that of its author." - Introduction. pp. x, 293. Fold-out color map at back. "Leslie Furze-Morrish (1898-1979) was a mid-20th century Melbourne mystic, astrologer and theosophist, and a former officer in the British field artillery. Some of his research papers were published in American journals." - AusLit website. Slight spine slant. Somewhat above-average wear to original olive cloth clearly lettered in gilt upon backstrip. Prior owner's name atop title page, otherwise contents clean and unmarked. Binding intact. Dust jacket not included. A quality vintage copy of this intriguing study. Halford & Sherrod p.7.; 8vo.
