Light wear, minor smudging, light sunning to spine, minor dents to rear cover. Text clean, no names or marks; xv, blank, 430 pages + 15-page publisher's catalogue; tables, figures, bibliography, index. Size: 5½" by 8".

Cloth over Board. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Some light rubbing and edgewear, moderate fading. All typical ex-library markings both inside and out. Text has yellowed with age but remains tight in binding. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.

Copy with crisp pages with light pencil markings and highlighter markings (yellow) on text. A crease on cover page. Small scuffing at bottom spine. Slightly worn corners.

Glossy cover clean bar a small faint darkish price label ghost to front, back outer corners a tad curled. xv + 430 + (8, pub.liist), lists also to inside of cover, 14 text figs + 4 on leaf ex-pagination inc. in fig. numbering; generally clean, tight, unmarked and unworn, a few shallow top outer corner creases. This trans. was pub. by O.U.P. in 1927 and this issued by Dover in 1960, but this an unspecified reprint as has 10 digit ISBN to spine. 13.5 cm x 19.5 cm.

Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 2nd Rep. of 1927 1st UK ed. xv+430, 18 text figs. internally clean & unmarked, but end gutter splitting exposing netting and fr. has incipient splitting of endpapers, quite tight nonetheless; covers clean and unworn but strip of minor cloth bubbling along fr.joint; jacket chipped top sp.with loss of part of title, num.other nicks and frayings at extremeties, sp.also very darkened as are outer folds. Without gutter splitting would have rated book itself as Good/VG. Nevertheless a sound working and reference copy of this classic. Size: 17 Cms x 24 Cms.
