He helped establish a flourishing art centre among the Caribou Eskimo of Baker Lake, N. W. T. He and his family now reside in Ottawa where he is engaged in the planning of similar art centres of other Arctic settlements = Als Angestellter des Ministeriums für nördliche Angelegenheiten und nationale Ressourcen verbrachte Herr Gely sechs Jahre bei den Eskimos in verschiedenen arktischen Siedlungen. Er half beim Aufbau eines blühenden Kunstzentrums unter den Karibu-Eskimos in Baker Lake, N. W. T. Er und seine Familie leben jetzt in Ottawa, wo er an der Planung ähnlicher Kunstzentren in anderen arktischen Siedlungen beteiligt ist - 84 Gramm.
