Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No printing / date stated. A Fine staple-bound, paperback, promotional Jell-O recipe booklet (3.4 inches x 6 inches tall). The 12-page (including the covers) booklet, which features a baker's dozen of recipes, is clean and securely bound. The center pages and rear cover are color illustrations of products made with Jell-O, while the front cover features a circular illustration of the Jell-o Girl in a white dress with green shoulder ribbons above the title. Although undated, Seller suspects this item is a reprint--the front cover art and contents are circa 1908 based on references to the St. Louis (1904), Portland (1905) and Jamestown (1907) exhibitions. The rear cover, however, references 'the aluminum Jell-O Moulds mentioned on the preceding page', when that page in this copy relates only to Jell-O Ice Cream Powder. Included with the Dainty Dessert booklet is a same size and seemingly contemporaneous 4-page paper brochure for 'Jell-O Ice Cream Powder.' The front cover features the Jell-o Girl in a pink dress seemingly preparing to serve pink desserts to a couple seated in the background. The rear cover is a color illustration of 'Strawberry Brick'. Although it has a bit of yellowing, this brochure is also in at least VG condition. More particularly, neither item has any tears, creases, stains or similar evidence of user wear. The booklet's stated product prices are '10 cents per package' for Jell-O and 'Two packages for 25 cents' for Jell-O Ice Cream Powder'.
