Magazine. 100p. including covers 8.5x11 inches, articles, features, reviews, listings, illustrated with b&w photos and ads, good semi-glossy entertainment magazine in lightly-worn stapled silvered pictorial wraps with small chip on cover. Cover photo by Kenn Duncan of Manolis in black velvet kaftan. Also: James Coco, "A Phoenix All Too Frequent," Summer Festival highlights, All That Glitters is.Gary! The numbering of the volumes is illogical in the beginning years up to about 1971. "After Dark" was originally "Ballroom Dance Magazine" which ended with its volume 9, #4. The new magazine's first issue continued the numbering of the previous magazine and so issue #1 is stated as volume 10, #1. By the third year of the magazine they changed the numbering from volume 13 to volume 3, #9. A fine magazine of arts, stage, dance and music that bridged the gap between gay and straight readers in the 1970s-80s.

Magazine. 100p. including covers 8.5x11 inches, articles, features, reviews, listings, illustrated with b&w photos and ads, very good semi-glossy entertainment magazine in lightly worn stapled pictorial wraps. Special 5th Anniversary Issue, Manolis (Kenn Duncan cover shot). The numbering of the volumes is illogical in the beginning years up to about 1971. The first notice of volume number began with the first issue as volume 10 number 1. This is likely due to the fact that the magazine in 1968 was a reworking of "Ballroom Dance Magazine" A fine magazine of arts, stage, dance and music that bridged the gap between gay and straight readers in the 1970s-80s.

Published by Hammersmith Odeon, London, 1986
Vintage mini-poster for a concert featuring artists Gary Glitter and The Rapiers, performing at London's Hammersmith Odeon on Friday June 13th, 1986. Glitter here is seen at his glam rock peak, wearing a deeply v-necked white jumpsuit and large shining shoulder armor. Known largely for his "Rock and Roll parts I and II," an essential for any ballpark experience and musical influence on countless other recording artists, this poster dates from Glitter's comeback tour after his temporary retirement in 1976. In the late 1990s Glitter would be ousted for a number of sex offender charges, including ownership of a large cache of child pornography and committing sexual acts with minors in multiple countries worldwide. His brief popularity, followed by his catastrophic fall, could in some ways be said to mirror the glam rock genre's trajectory as well. 11.5 x 16.5 inches, photocopy on pink stock. Near Fine, with light bruises at the corners.
