This book explores the galvanic nature of life, establishing the fundamental role of electricity in the functioning of both plants and animals. Grounded in experimentally verifiable phenomena, the author presents a comprehensive theory of life based on the principles of galvanism. The author meticulously compares the conditions necessary for galvanic action in the voltaic pile with those required for life processes, revealing striking similarities that suggest a shared underlying mechanism. This groundbreaking discovery offers a fresh perspective on the nature of life, uniting the fields of physics, chemistry, and biology to provide a comprehensive theory of the life process. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Blake p. 364. Wellcome IV, 441.
