Grey linen with paper spine labels, 4to., 191, (1) pages + numerous inserts, 36 in-text illustrations, 37 type specimens, 10 bound-in printing or typographic specimens, and many tipped-in illustrations, some folding. Some highlights include a 16 page insert on E. R. Weiss, with three tipped-in dust Jackets, printed by Bauer; an article by Bernard Lauffer on papermaking and printing in old China, with a folding color map; and a small sewn Rudolf Alexander Schroder bibliography with a tipped-in photographic portrait. Further contributions by Herbert Post, Georg Trump, Walter Brudi, Genzsch & Heyse Type Foundry, Insel, Poeschel & Trepte. Two page typewritten translation of the table of contents laid in. One of 1,000 copies printed. Bookplate of The Bibliographical Library of William P. Wreden at paste-down. Tips bumped, mild center crease to spine, else a better than very good copy in archival mylar. Text in German.

Laid in is correspondence, an invoice, and a prospectus from the publisher. Mild cover soiling, else clean, very good copies enclosed in the publisher's blue cloth gilt portfolio.

Grey linen over limp boards, spine labels, 4to., 301, (22) pages, 26 in-text illustrations, 72 typefaces, and 15 supplements. The spectacular second volume of this annual for booklovers. One of 750 copies printed at the Offizin Haag-Drugulin. Features Rudolf Alexander Schroder on the Cranach-Presse, with a four-page specimen of "Hamlet" printed at the Cranach-Press, folded twice, with two woodcuts and ornaments by Edward Gordon Craig; and a mounted four-page specimen of "Das Hohe Lied", with an original wood engraving by Eric Gill (opposite page 104), printed at the Cranach-Presse in red and black on Japanese paper. A 49 page article on modern English presses by Anna Simons features five mounted specimens, including a four-page "Specimen Pages of Two Type-faces Cut for the Ashendene Press", printed at Ashendene, and a four-page specimen from "Froissarts Cronycles", printed at the Shakespeare Head Press; as well as numerous other excellent illustrations, some being mounted, folded or bound in. A clean, absolutely fine copy.

Stiff paper wrappers, 8vo., various pagination. Each volume enclosed in a collapsible paper-covered board slipcase, presumably as issued. Volume 4 is bound in green linen gilt. A total of 20 volumes comprising 80 quarterly issues. Very occasional light cover wear, essentially fine copies in like slipcases. Additional shipping required.

A magnificent issue featuring the Rhine-Main region. Eight page index for 1930 laid in. Interior fine, light soiling to wrappers, with 1/2" of the top corner torn away, in archival mylar.

Extensively illustrated survey of Stuttgart printing and graphic arts with specimens in many colors on various paper stocks, many tipped in. With multi-page supplements for Stuttgart graphic design and printing schools. A clean, solid, very good copy with moderate cover wear and soiling.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Decorated wrappers with paper cover label, 4to. 61 Jahrgang, Heft 4. Over 220 pages plus numerous illustrations. Surveys 20 presses with in many cases inserted specimens printed by the press, including Bremer Presse, Drei Masken Verlag, Ernst-Ludwig-Presse, Euphorionverlag, Kleukens-Presse, Rudolfinische Drucke, and Rupprecht-Presse. Includes lengthy articles on private presses, bookbinding and printing. There are many other illustrations, samples and advertisements. A very good copy in wrappers lightly worn at extremities, one inch tear at top of spine joint, with small notation, name and date(1926) penned on label, in archival mylar.

Printed after a calligraphy manuscript by Fritz Lometsch completed in 1945 and hand-coloured by Albert Wald in 1948. Pp. 12. 8vo., in the original hand-coloured printed wrappers. Edges of wrappers creased and a little faded, otherwise very good. A really lovely book in praise of the countryside.

Text paper browned & stained. A Good, complete copy of this uncommon product from Ritter's prolific press. Period quarter-leather binding, with paste-paper wrapped boards 1st printing (American Imprints 22488; Arndt & Eck 1865). OCLC records 6 holding institutions.

Pp. 42. 4to., bound by Christian Zwang in original beige paper covered boards, wood engraving and blind embossed lettering to covers, titles printed in orange to spine. Housed in the original decorated slipcase. A bright, fresh copy. One of the best of German printers during the second half of the 20th century, Rohse illustrated his own remarkable fine press books with wood and copper engravings.
