The front panel of the boards has a small surface mark to the top left corner. The rear panel of the boards has some small stains over the bottom half. There is rubbing at the top and bottom of the spine and rubbing and bumping to the corners. Gilt edged pages - the edges are clean and unmarked. Browning to the front and rear free endpapers. Browning and spotting to the half title page and the facing page and to the equivalent pages at the rear of the book. There is a gap in the front endpapers with the webbing exposed slighty just before the frontispiece but the binding is tight and secure. Tissue paper present and complete. The pages at the front and rear are a little browned but the pages are otherwise generally clean and unmarked. First printing. Signed by Author(s).
