8vo, cloth, dust jacket, illustrated, 216 pp. Protected by Brodart sleeve, some aging to jacket and a little edgewear, contents normal aging; otherwise very good plus. Ruby Goldstein (1907-1984) a boxer himself was a referee in boxing for many years. He was the ref for many important fights, including Paterson vs. Johansson, Marciano vs. Louis, and Walcott vs. Louis. Sadly, he was the ref in the Benny "Kid" Paret Emile Griffith fight when Paret would die from the beating he took in the fight.
