Condition: Befriedigend. Softcover Heft Der Einband des Heftes ist sehr stark berieben und bestoßen, verstaubt/verschmutzt, mit Randläsuren und kleinen Einrissen an den Kapitalen. Bibliotheksstempel und -aufkleber auf dem vorderen Einband, Stempel und handschriftl. Vermerk auch auf dem Titelblatt. Das Heft ist ungleichmäßig geschnitten, dadurch verstaubt, teilweise auch etwas auf den Seitenrändern. Tafeln aus dem Lieferungswerk "Alt-Österreich.", in welchem die wichtigsten Bauwerke Alt-Österreichs dargestellt wurden. ca 44x34 cm, 288 lithographierte Tafeln (von 336), beginnend mit Nr. 46, in unserem vorhandenen Konvolut fehlen die Taf. 93 und 265, in desolater Leinen-Klappschachtel mit großem Deckelschildchen, Blatt 46 (Aggstein) ist am unteren Rand etwas eingerissen, sonst sind die Blätter altersbedingt gut erhalten. Die Tafeln jeweils untertitelt, ohne Textbeilagen.

Original portfolio with black three-quarter cloth over orange paper-covered boards with black lettering on cover; string ties. Extensive collection of historically important and unusual architecture and sculptures, churches and convents, castles and ruins in Vienna and Lower Austria. Lithographic and offset reproductions based on watercolors by the author and city skylines after original plates by Merian, Vischer and Hufnagel. The complete work was delivered in 48 parts of 4 plates each accompanied by a four page leaflet describing each plate providing historical background and special features for each motif. Text in German, Gothic script. Portfolio rubbed and cloth cracked along edges of spine, some tears along fold of bottom flap and inside paper-covered boards brittle at folds. Some of the leaflets browned and separated at folds, some creasing. Plates with sporadic light wear and creasing along edges. Portfolio in overall good-, plates in very good condition.
