Bound in contemp. richly gilt-tooled calf decorated with floral motives, dated "1762" and with a German episcopal coat of arms (initials "B K D") within a central embossed oval border. The beautiful frontispiece plate shows the Pope and the Emperor, each one flanked by their entourage, with the earth globe at their feet.
