This first printing was only one that contained the Grosz illustrations. John Heartfield was responsible for the dust jacket design, of which he did three versions, this being the first with a photograph on the front of a crowd of pedestrians on New York's Wall Street and no image on the rear. Spine slightly discolored; very good copy in dust jacket showing a touch of edge wear and with neat paper-tape strengthening on the underside.
