Pictorial title page. This volume of the Select Novels series has a printed dedication page to Princess Charlotte in commemoration of her nuptials to Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coberg. There is a preface & dedication to "The Old English Baron" by its author. Also "Tartarian Tales" has a translation of the author's original dedication of the work to the Duke of Chartres. At the rear are directions to the binder. Size: Octavo (standard book size). 62+98+167+197 pages. inside covers, end-papers & a few other pages have browning & damp stains to outer margins but main body of the text is clean.
