Zusammen 8 SS. auf Doppelblättern, davon ½ S. Widmung und U. auf Bl. 2. 8vo. Wie dem gedruckten Text der hübschen, auf Bl. 1 mit einer Farbaufnahme des Eiffelturms versehenen Karte zu entnehmen ist, entstand diese Widmung des schottischen Komponisten im Rahmen einer Veranstaltung der 'Sociétés d'Auteurs et Compositeurs', der 'Composers' Guild of Great Britain' im 'Jules Verne', dem Restaurant des Eiffelturms. - Nach erster Ausbildung in Winchester und Oxford studierte der in Edinburgh geborene Musiker am Royal College of Music in London, dessen Lehrkörper er von 1925 bis 1835 angehören sollte. Später nahm Warrack zahlreiche Dirigentenverpflichtungen wahr, war 1952 und 1956 Vorsitzender der 'Composers' Guild of Great Britain' und von 1955-59 Präsident des 'International Council of Composers'. Seine Konzerttätigkeit führte den Fachmann für Pauken u. a. durch ganz Großbritannien, nach Ceylon, Neuseeland und Südafrika. Als Komponist schuf er u. a. zahlreiche Orchesterwerke und Filmmusiken für historische Filme und Dokumentationen. Vgl. MGG XIV, 246.
