Die Studie zeigt eine unbekannte Dame mit überschlagenem Bein leicht nach vorne gebeugt auf ihre rechte Hand aufgestützt. Am Oberrand sind die Haare leicht angeschnitten. Im Jahr 1908 beginnt Fuglsang seine ersten Gemälde, in München entstehen großformatige weibliche und männliche Akte. (J. Kruse, 1967). - Verso mit Nachlaßstempel Hans Fuglsang. - Der dänische Maler und Radierer besuchte zunächst die private Kunstschule von Gerg Erler in Dresden und wechselte dann ein Jahr später, 1907, an die Münchener Kunstakademie. Er lebte und arbeitete in München und Dresden und unternahm zahlreiche Studienreisen. Im Frühjahr 1915 kehrte er nach Dresden zurück. - Im Rand mit Atelierspuren, leichten Knickspuren und einem Braunfleck. In den Außenrändern teilweise mit wenig Silberfischfraß.
