Im zweiten Teil schildert Anton Haffner die Feldzüge in Frankreich mit der genauen Beschreibung der Schlachten, die er als Augenzeuge miterlebte. Dieser Teil ist trotz des trockenen Stils von dokumentarischem Wert. Haffner nimmt Partei für das französische Königshaus und die Katholikenğ (HLS). 1100 gr.
