    First edition, first printing. Original black cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Ionicus illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and tight, with a very minor bump to the fore-edge of the upper board. The contents, lightly toned to the margins, are clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the original dustwrapper which is very slightly rubbed at the extremities and with a touch of fading at the spine. Not price-clipped (£7.95 on the front flap). A collection of ghost stories about the Flying Dutchman, edited and contextualised by Peter Haining, a prolific horror and folklore anthologist. London: Hale, 1987. Some correspondence with Robert Hale about the production and editing of the book. Envelope contains many press cuttings/magazine articles, including a copy of Time Out dated 1981 No. 588, Titbits and the Sunday Times Magazine, with extensive articles on Presley. Many xeroxed photographs, one showing Presley's return from the Army, with stills from 'Flaming Star' and 'Kissin Cousins'. Including a signed letter from Todd Slaughter, from Elvis Monthly and material from the 'Love Me Tender' tribute to Presley, dated August 14th 1987. Very good.

Envelope containing material from the film 'What a Wonderful Life' dated 1961, and a souvenir from the film 'Acapulco', with several Official Elvis Presley Fan Club of Great Britain pamphlets/journals (edited by Jeanne Saword and Dug Surtees). Includes many press cuttings/magazine articles, quite a few written by the journalist, Brian Jones. A xeroxed copy of a proclamation by the Mayor of Memphis, William B. Ingram Jr. stating that the Coliseum will be named after Presley. Three copies (very nice condition) of the magazine 'Photoplay', featuring the Bond girl, Claudine Auger. Very good.
