Prima edizione, non comune, della seconda opera edita dal celebre poeta polacco, Jerzy Harasymowicz (Pulawy, 24 luglio 1933 Cracovia, 21 agosto 1999). L'autore fu una delle figure più curiose del movimento poetico letterariopolacco del novecento. A differenza dei suoi contemporanei non aderì a nessuna corrente culturale o politica componendo poesie in uno stile del tutto particolare che conciliava elementi crepuscolari e pseudo romantici ad elementi popolare creando poesie e ballate nelle quali non mancano mai richiami ad un mondo fantastico ed infantile. Il mondo reale finisce così con il confondersi con una realtà abitata da streghe, angeli, animali mitologici che si muovono in ambienti surreali che però richiamano luoghi reali come le periferie delle grandi città o i luoghi di culto abbandonato. L'umorismo diventa così per Harasymowicz un mezzo per esser partecipe del dolore e dei problemi del mondo ma sempre attraverso l'ottica della speranza.
