Dark green morocco leather binding; rubbing and light staining to boards; spine slightly faded with some scuffing; spine's gilt stamping remains fairly bright. All edges gilt. Some soiling to endpapers; some foxing to interior leaves. London, England bindery ticket… for "F. Westley, Binder, Friar Street, -near- Doctors Commons" affixed at rear pastedown's bottom left corner. Unpaged b/w plates most of which retain their tissue guard sheets. Binding is firm. Still a handsome book.
