Snell, eventually Lord Snell, was a politician, M.P., and a tireless promoter of Ethical Culture, Socialism, and Secularism, all his adult life. "Teaching the doctrine of simple devotion to the right, the Ethical Movement contains all the thought and inspiration of the old religions of the world without any trace of their bigotry and intolerance." Worldcat and Copac show just one copy, at the London School of Economics, where Snell was for many years Secretary to the director. Staples rusty, essentially a Fine copy.
