Die vorliegende Auswahl verschiedener seiner Arbeiten will ihren Rang und ihre aktuelle Bedeutung dokumentieren.Von Anfang an zeichneten sich die Arbeiten von Reimut Jochimsen nicht nur durch Beherrschung des jeweiligen state of the art, sondern auch durch Klugheit und Klarheit aus, was bei einem fleißigen Autor wie ihm besonders viel besagt. Viele seiner Schriften waren wegweisend - um nicht zu sagen: visionär. Man lese zum Beispiel, was er zu Rolle und Bedeutung von Infrastruktur, Bildung oder dualer Entwicklung in den sechziger und siebziger Jahren geschrieben hat, und man wird zu dem Ergebnis kommen, daß es die Zyklen des modischen Interesses, dem sich zunehmend auch die Wirtschaftswissenschaftler unterwerfen, sehr gut überstanden hat. Die Arbeiten haben nur wenig von ihrer seinerzeitigen Bedeutung eingebüßt oder sind eben im Begriff, sie wiederzuerlangen (z. B. Bildung). Gleichzeitig wird man sich bei der Lektüre bewußt, wie sehr viele der Aufsätze charakteristisch für ihre Zeit sind: Die Umstände, die Anlaß zu ihrer Entstehung waren, erschließen sich ebenso wie die Art, wo und wie nach Lösungen gesucht wurde - Quellentexte zur Wirtschaftspolitik der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und der Europäischen Union.Es gab also gute Gründe, die verstreuten Arbeiten Reimut Jochimsens zu sammeln und so einem größeren Kreis wieder zugänglich zu machen.

Juni 1956 in Porto Alegre, Brasilien) war ein deutscher Jurist und Schriftst…eller.Unter dem Pseudonym Rideamus (lat. ?Lasst uns lachen!?) wurde der in Berlin lebende jüdische Rechtsanwalt zu einem Erfolgsschriftsteller. Seine humoristischen Bücher erreichten Höchstauflagen. Als Lyriker, Librettist und Revuedichter arbeitete er mit Oscar Straus, Walter Kollo und Eduard Künneke zusammen und textete für die großen Haller-Revuen. Zahlreiche Lieder aus seiner Feder wurden von Marlene Dietrich interpretiert. Er schrieb unter anderem die Operetten Die lustigen Nibelungen, Der Vetter aus Dingsda und die Revue Noch und noch. Im Jahre 1939 emigrierte er nach Brasilien. 1951 erschien die Autobiographie Rideamus. Von ihm selber. Die Geschichte eines heiteren Lebens.
