Hardcover. Condition: Good. Undated but circa 1900. 342pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece. Pictorial cloth boards with images front and spine, red lettering. 12m. Cloth a little worn and faded, gently rounded at corners and spine ends. Text block edges and free endpapers toned. Presentation inscription, dated 1910, neatly inked on the front free endpaper else internally neat and clean. Square and tightly bound. Bernard Heldmann was the pen name of Richard Marsh (1857-1915). The Belton Scholarship, his fourth novel, was first published in 1881. The appearance of this volume, which is undated, suggests it is a slightly later reprint.
