Maerz 1862 gewidmete(n) Abhandlung von Theodor Otto Heusinger". Otto von Heusinger (auch: Theodor Otto (Otto Theodor) von Heusinger ) (1830-1901) "wurde am 5. October 1830 zu Marburg geboren und studirte dort von Ostern 1850 bis Herbst 1852, dann in Göttingen, wieder in Marburg und später noch in Würzburg und Berlin. 1856 erfolgte seine Promotion. Er liess sich in seiner Vaterstadt nieder und habilitirte sich an der dortigen Universität 1861 als Privat-Docent; auch war er seit 1869 Kreis-Wundarzt des Kreises Marburg. Neben Aufsätzen in VlRCHOW's Archiv, dem Deutschen Archiv f. klin. Med., der Zeitschr. f. Kinderheilkunde bat er separat publicirt: "Studien über den Ergotismus" (Marburg 1856), die Habilitationsschrift: "De ruhcolis" und "Ueber die Getränke." Wernich (Stuttgart. 1862). Nachtrag: Heusinger, Otto Theodor von, habilitierte sich 1860, wurde 1885 Kreisphysikus, 1887 Sanitätsrat, 1891 Präd. Professor, 1897 a. o. Professor für gerichtliche Medizin, 1898 Geh. Sanitätsrat, 1900 Ehrenbürger der Stadt Marburg, starb 19. Februar 1901. Er schrieb: "Hautkrankheiten" (Marburg 1860, 2. Aufl. 1901) - "Anleitung zur Krankenuntersuchung'' (ib. 1860, 2.
