An attractive book with a solid binding and a tight unmarked text. Book includes foldouts, index, BW diagrams, scale drawings, and photos. Hoade expertly describes the historical, architectural and spatial development of Jerusalem WITH emphasis on geography, space and buildings.

Condition: Fair. 1946. No Edition Remarks. 543 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrations. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. More pronounced to endpapers and pastedowns. Binding remains firm. Thumb-marking and water staining present. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Water staining to boards. Boards are warped.
