Solid with a crease on the front cover, a small sticker lift mark on the top right corner of the front cover, and the previous owner's name is faintly written in red pencil on the front cover. Otherwise the covers show light wear. The interior is unmarked. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

They first appeared in an edition of For The Children broadcast on 20th October, 1946. They became Britain's best-known puppet company at home and abroad.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. RARE to find this in such good collectable condition, hence Very Good, which takes account of the age. A very popular series which is usually presented with a fair amount of damage. This one has survived in good order. Charming and colourful, with no owner names or marks. Slightly scruffy after all this time but presentable and charming.
