Nanna Lysholt Hansen è una performance artist, curatrice e insegnante di Copenhagen, Danimarca. Ha conseguito un master presso la Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Ha conseguito il BFA nel 2005 presso la Kingston University di Londra, Regno Unito. Nel 2010 ha studiato anche presso l'Accademia Centrale di Belle Arti di Pechino, in Cina. Nel 2006 Hansen ha fondato il NLHspace, un centro gestito da artisti a Copenhagen. La serie è iniziata spontaneamente nel 2016 come collaborazione tra Lysholt Hansen e sua figlia, che ha dipinto e disegnato sul materiale d'archivio.
