The publisher's decorated green cloth binding is generally clean and undamaged, with just two small holes to the rear hinge and some very minor wear to the spine tips. Solid binding with everything square and tight. Inside there is an elegantly inked owners name from 1902, but otherwise the contents are unblemished with no markings of any kind. The sub-title says it all - "A Century of Dutch-English Feud in South Africa".
