'The Life Story of David Lloyd George' was mysteriously withdrawn before its first trade screening. It was long thought that all copies had been destroyed, until a complete negative was found amongst material by Lloyd George's grandson, Viscount Tenby. The first part of the book focuses on the reasons behind the film's suppression, the second on its restoration, and the final section discusses the film and its contribution to the history of British cinema. As new.
