Condition: Very Good. 2 pages; Clean and unmarked, this advertising brochure for Hotpoint Electric Ranges is printed in vivid color on both sides of a large single sheet (22" x 17") folded into 8 sections (8.5" x 5.25"). When fully opened one side comprises a poster displaying 7 different models of Hotpoint ranges "introduced" by a woman in a checkered dress and frilly green apron carrying a large baked ham on a platter. Some panels on the verso show the various "extra value features" and kitchen displays.

Moderate shelf wear, starting to lightly age yellow, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked. Instruction manual. Appliances; antiques (shelved in cookbook section).

No publication date noted, but previous owner dated this copy 1946 on front cover. Wrappers have general heavy handling wear, light soiling. Illustrated in b&w. Soft cover. Condition: Fair to Poor. First Edition. What a find! 1925 book on Canadian cookery using the "new" Hotpoint Electric Range. 91 pages. Sadly the front cover is no longer present and the last page is detached with some loss of text. {ages 89 and 90 also have some loss of text. Despite these significant defects, the book contains wonderful recipes and tips from "Johnny Hotpoint" on care and operation of the range, plus general cooking advice. A rare piece of Canadiana and cookery.
