Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - In 'Red Nails,' Robert E. Howard presents a gripping tale within his renowned Conan the Barbarian series, masterfully weaving elements of fantasy, adventure, and horror. Set in the exotic and perilous land of Stygia, the narrative follows Conan and his companion, Valeria, as they encounter a lost city filled with treachery, violence, and the haunting echoes of ancient civilizations. Howard's vivid prose and exemplary world-building immerse the reader in a gritty, visceral experience that reflects the artist's unique blend of pulp fiction and mythic storytelling, often exploring themes of survival and the darker sides of human nature. Robert E. Howard, an American author and one of the founding figures of the sword & sorcery genre, drew upon his deep interests in history, mythology, and personal experiences to craft tales that resonate with a primal essence. His formative years in early 20th century Texas, alongside a rich tapestry of literary influences, fueled his imagination, leading to the creation of memorable characters, particularly Conan, who has become an emblem of heroic fantasy. 'Red Nails' is a quintessential read for fans of fantasy literature, offering a powerful exploration of strength and vulnerability intertwined within a thrilling plot. Howard's storytelling not only entertains but also serves as a commentary on the human condition, making it a compelling addition to the shelves of both genre enthusiasts and new readers alike.
