Spring was a serious, but successful and very popular author, creating stories for both adults and children. His account of his own life, which makes this novel, concludes with the ending of the second war. CONDITION -- BOOK : GOOD PLUS --- JACKET : GOOD -- This is a previously owned book that remains clean and attractive , with the following particulars noted : EXTERIOR -- Spine extremities are compressed; title on spine displays sharply; A crease displays on the bottom fore-edge corner of the front board (this barely shows up in a picture, but we've indicated the extent of the crease in picture); bottom board edges have mild shelf rub; text-block edges are clean. BINDING -- Solid. INTERIOR : Clean and free of marking. No signatures DUST-JACKET -- The foot of the spine panel has a small tea stain, which shows most clearly on the reverse side; the bottom edges have a bit of crimping, and the rear panel displays a touch of smudging and abrasion; the front flap has a small mark else the jacket is clean and attractive.
