Magazines lack covers, but otherwise are all in very good condition or better. Crack along the front joint, but binding is holding perfectly well. An illuminating depiction of British society in the run-up to World War II.

It is considered a pioneering example of photojournalism and was an immediate success, selling 1,700,000 copies a week after only two months. It has been called the UK's equivalent of the USA 'Life' magazine.
