Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 8vo. Not paginated. [20pp] Staple bound in paper wrappers as issued. Illustrated throughout by Groves- Raines in colour. Inspired by Heinrich Hoffman Struwwelpeter stories. The edges of the wrappers are a little worn and slightly spotted. Staples are now rusted but holding.Inside on the verso of blank endpaper of the cover is the Ex libris plate of C.H.L.Bledisloe; the text has some spotting in the middle of the book by the staples otherwise it is nice and clean. A very nice example of one of the scarcer Guinness Booklets, which were given as Christmas presents to stockists and to doctors, who at that time could prescribe Guinness to patients as a dietary supplement.
