Sie war u.a. auf der documenta 5 in Kassel vertreten und erhielt später Professuren in Düsseldorf, Braunschweig, Stuttgart und Berlin. Sie gewann 1995 einen Wettbewerb für Kunst… am Bau für eine Skulptur an einem Neubau der Kreissparkasse Göppingen. Nach Fertigstellung von Bau und Kunstwerk sah der bauausführende Architekt jedoch darin eine "Entstellung seiner Architektur und Verletzung seines Urheberrechts" und verklagte die Sparkasse auf Entfernung der Skulptur, obwohl die Jury als wie auch Besucher das Werk überzeugend fanden. Nach einem längeren Rechtsstreit, der bei gegensätzlichen Gerichtsurteilen letztlich bis zum Bundesgerichtshof gelangte, gewann schließlich der Kläger und die Skulptur mußte entfernt und dabei zerstört werden.
