With colour reproductions of artworks throughout, one per p…age in the main section, and within the introductory essays. Contemporary artists from round the world who feature calligraphy and lettering in their work. Introductory essays by Carlo Buffa, Thomas Ingmire (one of the artists featured), Tiziano Santi and Manfredo Massironi. Very nicely printed on Boldonia and Savile Row cream paper. This copy belonged to a British calligrapher who has inscribed his name and place in a fine hand on the front free endpaper. Fine book in Very Good jacket, which has very light rubbing to the edges, in similarly lightly rubbed slipcase. Pictures available.

The blacks, greys, and deep blues explode at the end in a splendor of yellow and orange. Tight, bright, and unmarred. Covers are lettered and painted, ink and watercolor decorated inblacks and blues for the upper cover, reds and yellows for lower, textblock mss, watercolor, and gilt; housed in a black plexiglass case with a clear lid. np.
