First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Good +. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket As Issued. First Thus. This offering is a great set of vintage publications that serve many purposes. Included are 11 "volumes" in The Nutshell Library series. All the books are in good or good + condition, and all are 3 5/8" by 5 3/16" with around 130 pages per book The "purposes"? First of all they'll be great reading . . . selections and essays from many of our most popular world-wide authors. Second, they're a touch of nostalgia which will probably be never published again. Third, their rarity means that as collectibles . . . there's a chance for value increase. For most of us though, they're simply neat books. The eleven books included in this offering are: An Evening with Burns, An Evening with Dickens, An Evening with Tennyson, An Evening with Irving, An Evening with Lamb, An Evening with Thackeray, An Evening with Hawthorne, An Evening with Scott, An Evening with Lincoln, An Evening with Shakespere, and How to Read and What to Read. At the very least it's a great sampler set, and a unique potential gift for yourself, or one who loves classic literature. Thank you!
