Tanto en Oriente como en Occidente, grupos opuestos recurren a la religión cuando se trata de forjar imágenes de enemigos y de movilizar a las masas. En lugar de convertirse en la servidora de la política, la religión ganaría si se aprehendiera como un contrapoder frente a la política.
