Hardcover. Condition: Good + +. No Jacket. 16 pp. ads + xvi + 500 + 15 PP. ads. 42 b&w illustrations. Green blind stamped cloth with spine and edges sunned to light brown. Front hinge reinforced with linen. Frontis illustration with a closed 4 inch vertical tear, recto of tissue guard has a pencil tracing of birds on frontis. There are a few pages where the uncut fore edges have been poorly separated resulting in some losses to page edges. The losses are still attached to opposite pages. They do not effect text.Also a laid in publishers announcement for Bohn's Libraries. A well preserved copy with no marks or inscriptions. PayPal accepted please inquire.

Spine bumped top and bottom. Cover grubby, corners bumped. Binding in front is coming loose, text still tight. Text is in Very Good condition but foxing throughout.
