First edition, this vol only, Quarto, blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine & front board, gilt motif to boards, illus eps, frontispiece, 163pp + folding map, illus, VG (light tannign to page edges, light bruising to spine extrems & board corners, slight soiling to eps).

Hardcover. 8vo. pp x, 182. Blue cloth varient binding. Publisher's navy boards decorated and lettered in light blue and gilt at front and spine. 26 plates in black and white, and colour. With a bookplate presenting this copy to R & W Hutton, Leslie & Co.; ship builders and locomotive manufacturers from 1886-1982. good plus condition. Occasional foxing throughout, more heavily spotted at prelims. Dusty top edge and a little rubbed.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 3-volume with. With 78 fine color plates after paintings by Spurling. Blue cloth covers with gilt decoration show minor wear and rubbing. Pages are lightly tanned with minor foxing and a few small tidemarks.
