Creased, soiling, small tears, one large chip at front top right. Good plus with the chip, else very good. Fragile map is creased, very good or better .Scarce version of the variably published Ellis account of the Battle of Bunker Hill. Text is primarily about the battle, but is followed by several pages of an account by architect James Savage of the building of the monument. This is not the modern reprint; it is the 1860 fourth printing of the 1843 first edition, with the delicate tissue map. LMILIT.
