Orig. published in Mar. 1958, this is the Second Printing from June 1959. Condition is conservatively VG+: extremely clean, binding tight & square, slightly off-white pages, but completely unmarked. Slight bumping to corners & both ends of spine, old bookstore stamp glued inside front cover. The unclipped DJ is bright & colorful, downgraded to VG- due to modest edgewear (small chips) & rubbing to extremities, light soil to rear cover. Stain from old price sticker on front flap. Color pictorial dust jacket from a painting by James Heugh is rubbed and chipped at edges with small jagged chipping at crown resulting in the loss of 1 or 2 letters in the title. A pair of longer closed tears to the rear panel of the jacket were repaired many years ago with cello tape, still present but yellowed. Price clipped from top corner of front flap. Endpage pictorial designs by Alex Schomburg. Solid clean copy in intact, original dust jacket with some wear and non archival period repairs. VG/VG-.
