Firm and square, strong joints, just rubbed and moderately worn. Contents toned and browned, an old now faded stain to a few pages in volume 2, and a former owner name at the endpapers, nonetheless very good indeed. Not from a library so no such stamps or labels. Size: 8vo (220mm x 140mm). Collation: pp. [2], xxi, [1], 506; [2], 512; engraved vignette title pages, complete with 22 engraved plates drawn and engraved by Henry A. Ogg. Thus a very good set of books.
