Image size 218 × 347 mm (plus captions); in fine condition. Digby Jephson 'was one of the last of the lob bowlers and one of the very best. At the height of the Golden Age of cricket, he kept the flame of old-fashioned lobs burning, with the spectators switching between roars of laughter and applause of acknowledgement whenever he went on. He was a fine middle-order batsman as well' (Cricket Country website).
