(He later became an MP, JP, and High Sheriff of Hampshire). It has his name and date neatly on fep as well as book-plate on paste-downs and it remained in the Family Library till it was all sold off in the 1990s. The interior is good and clean with no deliberate markings, just occasional age browning. Still strongly bound with gilt titling to labels (partly missing) to ribbed spine with just an inch of cracking to top of front hinge.
