Condition: Very Good. New Edition. Full straight grain calf leather binding. Spine with five raised bands, black morocco title label, gitl decorated compartments. Boards with single gilt fillet border, gilt decorated edges, blind tooled turn-ins. Marbled page edges and endpapers. Slight rubbing to spine and board edges. Good solid binding with no cracking to joints. Light foxing to blanks, very clean text throughout. From the library of Williamstrip Park, Coln St. Aldwyns - seat of the Hicks-Beach family. Inscribed to verso of front free endpaper by Sir Michael Hicks Beach; 1st Earl of St. Aldwyn and 9th Baronet of Beverston.
