The frontispiece to the first volume is from the portrait of the author by Zoffany. Each volume has three plates by William C. Cooke which give accurate depictions of Regency dress. Light green cloth decorated in gilt, top edges gilt. This edition is based on the last one to be published in Austen's lifetime.Ownership inscriptions on several of the front pastedowns. Free endpapers tanned. A few slight bumps to corners of covers. A very good set indeed.
