This copy is in fine, unmarked condition bound in orange cloth covered boards with black titling to the spine. This copy is bright, tight, white and square. The unclipped dust wrapper has some mild edge wear so best described as very good condition. It has now been covered in clear, removable, mylar, protective film. The name of Harley Quinn hides the identity of one of the few living poets whose work was included in the Oxford Book of English Verse. Here he displays a skill and versatility enlivened by a spice of humour. The range is wide from light verse to deep and real poetry, and should have a great attraction for readers of all tastes. The illustrations are full of pictorial interest and shrewd observation of men and manners. Miss Johnston combines sophistication and simplicity both in subject matter and manner.
